Dining with Chef Gary Bell at RUYC
Royal Ulster Yacht Club offers members and guests a stunning venue in Northern Ireland for both formal and casual dining, with an unrivalled setting enjoying panoramic views over Belfast Lough.
The A la Carte Dinner menu is served Friday and Saturday evenings in the Dining Room. A casual Bistro evening menu is also available Tuesday to Saturday.
The main Dining Room seats up to 100 people and provides a unique setting where members and guests can appreciate the history and ambience of one of the finest examples of Edwardian style architecture in North Down. In addition, the Strangers' Room can seat up to 20 people and provide a more intimate setting.
The Lipton Room and larger Gloucester Rooms on the first floor may be booked for private dining events such lunches, dinners, celebrations and weddings. On occasions, the Gloucester Room also serves as a buffet dining room for formal evening events, such as our annual Regatta Ball.
New Menu Choices for 2017
In response to member feedback and requests, Chef Gary Bell has introduced a new midweek Bistro Menu that combines popular choices from both the Club's casual dining and evening dinner menus. This will offer our members even greater choice and flexibility Tuesday to Thursday, when the Bistro menu will be served 6pm-9pm in the Dining Room and Strangers Room. The Bistro menu will also be served Friday and Saturday evenings in the Strangers Room and Back Bar 6pm-9pm.
The A la Carte menu evening dinner menu will continue to be served in the Dining Room on Friday and Saturday evenings 6pm-9pm. Pricing will remain at £20 for 2 courses and £25 for 3 courses. A new seasonal menu has been introduced this month featuring main course dishes that include Assiette of Lamb and Roast Hake with a Prawn and Red Pepper Orzo Pasta. A choice of Chef's Specials will also be served. Sample menus can be viewed on the menu links below.
A new Sunday Lunch menu has also been introduced this month, served 12-2.30pm (last orders 2pm).
The Lunch Menu will continue to be served Tuesday to Saturday 12-3pm and offer a choice of light bites, sandwiches, hot dishes and specials.
