Welcome to Gary Bell, our new caterer
Award winning Caterer, Gary Bell, starting Friday, 8th January, 2016.
We are delighted to welcome to the Club, Gary Bell who together with his talented team is taking over the catering from Coastal Cuisine on Friday, 8th January, 2016.
Originally trained by Robbie Millar at the Michelin star Shanks Restaurant, Bangor, Gary moved to New York to follow his culinary dream and worked in internationally acclaimed restaurants including Bayard’s and Vertigo in New York and the prestigious Thornton’s restaurant in Dublin.
Returning to Northern Ireland in 2011 Gary has most recently been involved with the Pearl restaurant in Ballyholme where many of our members have had the pleasure of tasting his beautifully cooked and presented innovative menus.
Sourcing only the best of locally produced ingredients Gary describes his food as a culinary experience on a plate and puts a lot of thought and effort into ensuring consistency of standards. He’s keen to expand the opening hours of the Dining Room and over the next couple of months breakfast at the weekend will be introduced. There will also be a full vegetarian and children’s menu on offer.
We would like to take this opportunity to remind you that all bookings for the Dining Room should be made directly through the Caterer on 028 9146 5002
Bookings for functions should be directed to Nicole McKee, Club Manager on 028 9127 0568
The Catering Committee are very excited to be working with such an innovative team and we sincerely hope to see you at the Club over the coming weeks. But don’t take our word for it, find out for yourself, make a booking and see what the new team have to offer. Any comments or suggestions are most welcome.
